Ningbo Zhonghua Paper Co., Ltd. is jointly established by Sinar Mas Group (Indonesia), Asia Pulp and Paper Co., Ltd. (Singapore), Ningbo Paper Board Co., Ltd., and China Strategy and Investment Co.,Ltd. (HongKong). The company is Located at Duantang, Ningbo, covering a land area of 570,000 square meters. It employs more than 1700 people. The company mainly produces high quality paper board. Currently, there are three paper board machines. Machine NO.1 was imported from Japan, with annual production capacity of 60,000 tons. Since 1994, the company has invested RMB 4 billion to purchase another two machines to achieve the aim for a total capacity of more than 480,000 tons per year. With this production capacity, the company has become the largest paper mill in China. In order to stay on top, the company also applies the most advanced technology and technique available. Currently, the company has about 280 specialized experts. In addition, the company has also passed ISO9002 certification in March 1998 and ISO14001 certification in March 1999. Apart from the production, the company also pays attention to environmental protection. The company has set up and implemented various waste control systems to ensure that the waste shall meet the national standards for the industry.
